It certainly does, but most times it takes Patience to Learn what others that maybe think a little differently are really saying. As many can attest to from their School Days, some Proffessors and other Teachers have different ways of saying the exact same thing. Life is just like that.

@ the first post your refering to William Paley's argument from design (theological argument). The idea that all complex things have a designer. William Palley's used the example of a watch, a watch at the time was highly sophisticated, if a watch is so complex it couldn't just appear - it must have a creator - which is the watchmaker. I can't really explain it in detail without typing a whole page - I recommend you look it up. Learned this from R.E if you guys are wondering ^^

Just look at some of Nature's Wonders and know that SOMETHING must have been behind it?

This little Critter is remarkably Beautiful, but oh so Deadly!

We Humans can only Ponder about what made them so beautiful.

I credit evolution and erosion.

One would have to ask Why? In the case of the little Octopus, "Why make it so Beautiful, an Object that people would pick up, yet so Deadly?"

The Creature is totally non aggressive unless stressed, such as by being picked up. No Cases of it attacking a Human, unless Stressed, are Documented, to my knowledge.

Would this be the basis of "Satan?" Something that is not as it seems?

Pretty sure the coloring is not to entice people to pick it up, but rather make predators take notice.

Makes a Great Point for why Bible Bashers say "Satan" will get your Soul?

They started late in the Game of Humans, so had to catch up quickly?

Little creature like that just shows how people can be misled.

Nature is full of examples of it, just look?

We forget who really looks after this Planet?

Good point there teacup61

Anyways.. where the hell is God then if he is looking after this earth? It is on US. I have to agree with Groovicus.. Evolution and erosion.. time makes things, develops them to what they become. But anyways what does all this have to do with Islam.. way off topic once again.

Not really off topic.......the original question was how to prove one thing as opposed to another. Evolution, in whatever form, is what a lot of people think is necessary to prove what they believe, one way or the other.

The remarkable thing about the little Critter is it is Blue tinged and no bigger over all than 6". Just begs a Human to pick it up.

Blue is a Colour that is most visable to Human eyes, that is why most Mines and Police and Emergency Crews use it in their day to day operations, so Humans actually feel comforted by that colour.

It is a massive shock to pick one up and have it Bite you.

My Point in the Debate is quite clear, Did the Writers of Islam and indeed the Bible consider what Nature has evolved and use those examples to further their Causes?

BTW, although I consider myself a Christian, I am more like the most Famous Person in Human History, Jesus Christ, and will always challange to seek better enlightenment towards ALL Others, as HE did. It got HIM Killed. I hope noone plans that for me?

Interesting discussion. The real problem is us humans. We will always create or uncreate 'God' to suit ourselves and our comprehension of the things around us, and also the things outside of the realm of our understanding. If the topic starter is still reading this thread: I would agree with the poster who said don't pressure your friends. Pray and live a life that will convince them. Talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. However, if the topic starter gave up pages ago.... Abacus 7, if you read the Bible and know about Jesus, then you will know that he laid down his life; which is different from him 'getting killed'. (Sorry if I went off topic a bit)
