If you have removed the machine from AD, renamed the machine and re-added it back to AD, the machine should now show in AD users and Computers with the new computer name under the OU of "Computers".

That was the key word reason being our Domain administrator created all the "computers, users, and groups" under the section "Accounts" and I have deleted the existing (np001467fd57f5) from that but not from the AD OU of "computers".

Therefore when I added the computer to the domain by default it was added to category under the OU of "Computers". So the issue is solved.

Once again thanks.

In brief in order to delete a system and add it back to domain. These below steps are fine in Windows server 2003.

1) Remove all traces of the PC in AD
2) remove the PC from the domain and add to work-group(Dont reboot)
3) rename the PC to what you want
4) Join the PC to the Domain (Reboot)
5) After few minutes you will find the that computer in AD users and Computers with the new computer name under the OU of "computers".

Thats all :trumpet:
