Hey y'all...
Just started trying out Ubuntu...
Vista dual boot...
I installed with wubi, liked it but didn't allocate enough space, so I burned the ISO image and installed with disk. I uninstalled with wubi beforehand, but think maybe I didn't do it quite right...lol
When the boot screen comes up, I have what looks like, 2 Ubuntu installations...
Ubuntu
Ubuntu
Vista
Top choice usually says "It appears you are currently running X server" and won't continue from there, if by chance it does continue, it goes into "low graphics mode".
Second choice works fine
Is it possible to get rid of this top choice?
below is a partial result of the "sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.1st" from terminal...
**Hope this is enough info, if not, please advise...
Thanks

Can I just change the text in "sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.1st" without destruction...??
