So, today I reformated my computer, running on windows xp. I've managed to install all the drivers for graphics card, utilities etc. The one and only problem left is the sound. the damned sound.
I thought i might need soundMax or something. but it was impossible to install. when installing soundmax, it says; "Driver not found! Reboot your system, and rin this setup again". so i rebooted. does not work any better.
anyways i've seen how good help you can get on this forum, so I thought i should try to get some
if you could find me the right audio drivers for me, i'd be so grateful.
some info about my system, not sure what it all means myself though:
ASUS P5000 series P5E
Analog Devices AD1988B @ Intel 82801IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-2] PC
System: Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Computer:
INtel® Core2 Quad CPU
Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
2.41 GHz, 2,00 GB RAM
PAE (Physical Address Extension)
Thanks
