Hello,
pretty much as the topic says - Installation of WinXP was interrupted by a blue screen.
The problem now is when I boot up:
HDD - Nothing shows up. Not even WinXP logo (Black Screen)
CD - Windows Setup loads up and then loads drivers and all other things but when it reaches to "Starting Windows", nothing follows anymore
I believe the Installation did not finish that's why I cant boot normally.
But I was wondering why the setup wouldn't load anymore.
I dont reach the point where it asks if I would like to install or repair WinXP.
I think I need to reformat again because WinXP wasn't fully installed but I have no idea how...
Since I also don't reach the point where it asks to reformat the partition where the OS would be installed

thanks! I've successfully reinstalled windows now.
All is well now except that my pc is automatically shutting down without warning because of overheating i think.
any way to disable this function temporarily?

If it is shutting down from overheating then you sure do not want to disable the feature. The computer is doing this out of self-defense so to speak. Ignoring the problem or disabling the feature may\will cause irreparable damage to the components of your computer.

I figured that one but I just wanted to be able to use the computer long enough to view this site but then again I guess It'd be better to use another PC to do that.
and oh BTW the PC automatically shuts down at 98'C (nearly the boiling point of water

I though it was clean already...
It looked like the accumulated dusts were a part of the mechanism
but thanks to that link i made a second look at the CPU
and after cleaning, the temperature dropped to an average of 47'C
