Problem: I'll try to summarize the best I can.

I'm working somone's computers who wants to network them together. This is what they have.
1. Dell Inspirion Desktop running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit.
2. Dell Inspirion Laptop running Windows vista Home 32 bit.
3. D-Link wireless router. (not sure of the model)
4. Comcast Cable for their ISP.

The Desktop is connected by Ethernet connection but has a wireless connection also.
The laptop is connected Wireless.
Both computers connect to the internet without any problems.
The desktop computer is able to see the files that are shared on the laptop; however the laptop cannot see the files that are shared on the desktop computer.

When I open Networking and Sharing Center on the laptop and view computers and devices, it only shows the laptop computer and the router. However when I click show full map I can see the desktop computer.

If I'm on the desktop and do the same steps I can see the laptop in view computers and devices and also the files that are shared.

I've verified that both units are set to Private Networking. I've verified that they both are in the same WORKGROUP which I have called MSHOME. I've check all that I can think of.

I wish I had more details to give such as Ethernet and wireless card information but I'm not at that location right now. I'll go see this person tomorrow morning and will try again.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Maybe it's something I'm overlooking.

Thanks in advance.
