Hi,

When the pc starts one of the program that loads and shows on start bar as running is Dell Support Center.

I would like to remove this from start up so that the program never loads.

Can someone walk me through how to do this?

I have windows vista 32 bit, home edition.

Thank you very much! smile.gif

In Vista there is also another method using Windows Defender that I like so I 'll just post it also.

Go to Start >> Control Panel
Type startup into the search box.
This brings up the Defender option.
Click in Windows Defender on Stop a program from running at startup.
This brings up the Software Explorer .
Now you can click on the program in the Left pane. The Right pane will show you what it is.
Using this panel, you can choose to Remove or just Disable any startup item.

A few more steps but I like the info provided.

Take care and thank you again! smile.gif
