Not So Good Tweak Indexing

Just want to leave this with you if you are thinking of trying this tweak. I have seen a lot of sites that say disabling the indexing service will speed up your machine. I have applied this tweak on several machines and it has actually slowed them down considerably. I do not recommend it.

Just my opinion of course.

did it make windows slower ? or just searching ?

If done in XP then prefetch is disabled as well. I disable it on all my XP machines. Never noticed a bit of difference.

Not sure of dependencies in Vista and Win7.

Not enough time to play. :thumbsup:
