My computer model is Dell Inspiron D530
I am running Vista Business, Service Pack 2.
My printer is HP Photosmart C5580

I have been using computers since 1979, I am 53 years old. So I would say I'm an intermediate computer user.

I have 2 issues that I need help with.

1) I have an HP Photosmart C5580 All-in-one printer scanner copier. It came with a program called Photosmart Essential 3.5. I cannot access the program. The HP techs have re-installed and un-installed the program probably 5 times now. They are at wits end. They feel that it must be a Dell-Vista Bus. OS incompatibility issue and told me to call Dell Support. I also had trouble installing Adobe from the Adobe website. Apparently the Photosmart Essential 3.5 program needs adobe to run.

2) My 22 yro college daughter installed a program called LimeWire on my machine when she was home for a visit. This program has put all kinds of Porn website links on my system. I have tried to uninstall this program several times, but there are 3 files that can not be deleted, they are unpack200.exe, exenowindow.exe and uninstall.exe

I called Dell support, but they wanted $169 to fix these issues. I cannot afford to pay that price, so they suggested I use Dell support online.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Angi
