I have an Advent flat screen monitor that is set to resolution of 1280 x 1024. What I don't get is it will happily work most of the time but it will crash randomly at the most awkward times saying that settings are out of range or similar error message. I don't know how to trouble shoot?

The monitor in question is an Advent hd-772i, model 780.

Any help much appreciated.

EDIT: The error message actually says "mode not supported".

Are these awkward moments during game play or during internet browsing?

Hi

Well I've lowered the resolution & all seems well now, no error messages. Bit strange that's all.

Thanks for your reply.
