I have not programmed in years (pre visual languages). I currently need to learn Visual Basic fast, and I am starting a C++ class in January. I am looking at the M$ Dreamspark page and I am wondering what the difference between the Visual Basic, C++ Express Edition and the versions in the Visual Studio Professional Editions? Which one should I pick - Express, 2005 or 2008?

Thanks

This question has been asked before if you do a search. You can download Visual Studio 2008 Express Editions, download the 766MB ISO link at the bottom and burn it to a DVD.
