cannot connect to the internet

when I try to connect to the internet.. I keep getting this cannot display the page.. and the error isFTP (Passive): Error 12029 can you give me some ideas as to how I can fix this? I would greatly appreciate any assistance... thank you.. nate goodman at nate98goody@yahoo.com
