Hi everyone,

I just would like to so some clean up on the laptop, updates if needed, a check up in general because it's running a little slow, and I just want to take a good care of my machine. Please, if someone can help me, I'll be gladly thankful (:

I would start of cleaning your hard drive.Download ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com and use the default settings on the brush cleaning part of the programme.Do not bother with the reg cleaner. Then try defragging your hard drive.I use aulogics disk defrag.Available at www.auslogics.com.Go through your old programmes and delete any you no longer use.Obviously not ones to do with your operating system but old downloads etc.Music and pictures you no longer want can be deleted also.

Also try using a alternate malware checker like Malwarebytes to make sure your system is clear of any nasties and then see were you go from there.
