If you post a problem and help is supplied, you quickly respond if the help does not work and with amazing patience, another solution is posted. This goes on as long as your problem exists - then silence.
If you post a problem and it is sorted out on the forum, give feedback! This does two things - firstly, it shows a bit of gratitude for the assistance. Secondly, if another user has a similar problem, it helps that user to sort out his problem.
