IE & WMP NOT LOADING Problems with IE & WMP

Windows Vista Basic

For whatever reason ... Internet Explorer will not open [ every time i click on it ... problems ... looking for solution ...will now close ]

... Every time I try to open Windows Media Player .... nothing

Apps Running:
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
NOD 32
AVG 8.5
Avast 4.8

Doesn't seem to matter where I go ... use shortcut on desktop or go to program files ... nothing ;(

Any ideas?
