I just bought a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P (rev 1.0) along with a Phenom II x4 965 BE.

On the Gigabyte website, the bios upgrades are AGESA and NPRP.
If I have to flash the bios,
how can I tell which one I need or do I just get both?

I have never flashed bios and just want to make sure before starting.

Hoprfully I wont have to,but I would like to sure just the same. Thanks for any responses.

NPRP and AGESA are different AMD cpu models. To see which you have, you can use CPU-z, available HERE.

Here is a link to a BIOS Flashing help.

Good luck.

I have successfully flashed my motherboard bios.

I used the Q-Flash method.

Thanks for the advice.
