Hey, i have a Centos 5.2 box running apache 2.2 with mysql and php5. Our main webpage is written in php, we have a advantage database that requires ASP to pull the data from the database (PHP return random characters when testing, couldn't resolve the problem).

My question is, firstly, is it possible to run BOTH php and asp on the same webserver.

And secondly, if so, how do i install the module? I have seen some using CPAN (whatever that is...)

Yes it is possible to run both on the same webserver. I have both on mine, but I am running a Windows server.

CPAN is a Perl repository. Do you have Perl installed on your server?

OK, i have found there is a Perl Module that you can install with CPAN that is supposed to allow you to run ASP on a linux based webserver. However this didn't work so i am back to the start with this one.

The module was called Bundle::Apache::ASP(::Extras)

Any one have any idea's? I've seen Chili!soft can accomplish what i need, but looks as though Sun has retracted this software.
