I thought I had rid my machines of any viruses, and was all happy gp-lucky
I absentmindedly turn my computer off in the middle of the updating screen after auto updates
I have tried to use the system restore option , but it farts at the same file.
I am in bed 24/7 - without my laptop I will go insane!!!
Startup Repair starts without the factory disk, and it tells me i can send what appears to be list of afflictions, all of which I seem to be clean on.
I have tried f8 to no avail. I have tried any variation of the limited options made available to me; still I am on dh's laptop (which seems sooo foreign!)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I am very sorry I would have all the scans handy that are de rigeur!
Boy they *reallY* do mean don't turn of your computer! lol
I have to wish that my dh will allow me machine access - he had been ok with co-opting his fb to play all my silly games, but not his puter!
ty ty ty for your assistance!
