ITaskScheduler::NewWorkItem, error 0x80070005 error on launching malwarebytes

I'm getting this error "ITaskScheduler::NewWorkItem, error 0x80070005" when I launch malwarebytes 1.41. I saw the error before cleaning off AntiVirus 2010 using Malwarebytes 1.31, combofix and ccleaner. Thinking a fresh install of Malwarebytes' latest update would fix this error, I uninstalled malwarebytes 1.31 and installed Malwarebytes 1.41. The error still appears on launching the program.
Does anyone have a suggestion for fixing this error? I'd really appriciate the help.
System Info:Lenovo Thinkpad T60; Windows XP Pro, Sp3; McAfee Antivirus

Sorry. I posted the question before the database was updated. After the update ran DB 2954 was downloaded and Malwarebytes opened without an error.
