How does one get into an intranet without an internet connection?

Unless you work for the organization or are authorized access to their intranet, you would not have access. An intranet uses the same technologies and protocols of the Internet. But is closed to outside and unauthorized access.
The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.

Thats the problem someone is getting in and we are having trouble tracing the leak down. Any suggestions?
