My computer audio is very choppy. I tried downloading new drivers, but this had no effect. I originally posted in this thread.

I have since replaced the ram went from 256 to 2GB) but the original problem has not gone away. I have a toshiba satellite l25-s1195. I have downloaded the newest driver available from toshiba and have had no success. I still have sound....its just very choppy and seem to slow down the rest of the machine when playing video....

I know i didnt provide enough information....but i dont know exactly what i should post....this problem started about three months ago and i dont know what to do.....I want to learn how to handle whatever i can myself without taking it in for repairs....any help would be greatly appreciated....

On a side note....the computer is much more quiet (as far as fans and HDD spin) than it used to be...and there are bad sectors in my HDD...i dont know if this is important, or if it could be related but i am just giving all the info i can......any help would be greatly appreciated....thank you.
