My desktop (Cadmium on http://xenon.jesterpm.net/~brandond/sys) has been randomly freezing over the last 2 days, which is bad enough. Here's the weird thing: only some windows freeze. The active window remains functional, as well as sidebar and the clock, until they're clicked. Then the only thing that works is the cursor... which is of no use. Every time, since task manager doesn't work, I need to do a hard shutdown, and at times, the system refuses to boot.

Anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening? I tried a restore point, but it didn't do anything except wipe a few of the programs I installed recently.
