Media Player Classic

For some reason, I can watch all video file types on Media player classic except for mp4. With mp4 files, all I get is audio and my screen turns black. Could anyone please give insight on this problem?

IIRC, those are Quicktime files. You need Quickime to play them.

But I can play them using VLC?

I haven't tried to play Quicktime files with VLC so I don't know. I think they might be the only ones you can't play on VLC. you might want to check their website to be sure.
