Help
hi there,
can any one help me get back my volume control icon that is usually in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. when i go into control panel, then to sound and audio, there is a check box to place this control icon on the task bar, but when i click it, it tells me that volume control isnt installed and I need to install!! i cant figure it out.
can anybody help me??

Go to control panel, then "system", then "Device manager", then to "sound, video and game controllers" - click on the + on the left to open the tree.
Do you see any yellow or red marks showing up in there?
What are they for?

ok...thanks very much. i had a look in there, and i reinstalled the driver, and it is now back to normal. thanks for your help.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. My volume control has just dissappeared. I first noticed it missing from my task bar and when I went to control panel->audio devices, it says that i don't have the program.
What do I do?
