Well how did you come across BC?

I've been seeing a lot of people coming from Google, just wanted to get some statistics.

Personally I came from Google, looking help with a printer problem, I just never left. Couldn't stop.....

Edited by Grinler: If you hear about us from a Magazine, Newspaper, or TV...please let us know which one or what show. Thanks

While searching for a computer help forum. I just could not find one where I felt I would fit in. So I wound up lurking around one in particular, where Papakid was a member. And he would mention Bleeping Computer, from time to time. So I visited and registered. Bleeping Computer was brand new. With only a few members. So I was not to intimidated. LOL It took me a month to post for the first time. Now they can't get me to shut up.

Thanks Papakid! For directing me, (albeit inadvertently), :flowers: to my new home away from home. :trumpet:

And thanks to Grinler, for creating such a wonderful site. :inlove:

Where would I be without Bleeping Computer? I have learned so much along the way. And have made so many friends as well.

This place rocks! Posted Image

I was surfing around looking for some help with my computer problems. I don't really remember exactly how I got here, but I saw some other sites and I felt more comfortable here. I have been reading your tutorials for about 2 weeks now, and trying to learn more about computers. I have always just been a user - what I knew how to do, I knew how to do. Now I realize that there is much more to learn if you really want to be effective... and have also found that it is fun and interesting - mostly, I think, because you talk to people in layman's terms instead of "computerese". Thank you for that. I will be going over to the Malware section to post my problems, and trying to help fix them won't be so scary now.

I was involved in the old Tech TV forums, and someone there mentioned BC as a good place to go at the time when G4 began to transform (read: ruin and trivialise) TechTV and its boards.
