I learned about this site through Google. I was searching for a solution to a computer problem that I had and finally end up here. From then on, I enjoyed being here. Actually I almost forgot about other sites.

hey i stumbled on to this from a google search to fix an annoying error message, looks a great forum for people to talk and and get help, i have the computer bug just love them, but then also hate them at times to
 also just got myself a linux laptop to so branchin out in new ways

How did I come to this site? Well, I often visit and read Glenn Reynolds' blog at instapundit.com. Recently he had a note that Jerry Pournelle had put out a new column, so I went to Pournelle's column and printed it out for reading. In it Jerry mentioned this site and the HijackThis program...so here I am. Excellent site, and one that I figure I'll utilize a lot in the future. ---Tim
