Well how did you come across BC? I've been seeing a lot of people coming from Google, just wanted to get some statistics. Personally I came from Google, looking help with a printer problem, I just never left. Well, I come from WINDY WI Mod Edit: Cleaned up loose bb tags and closed existing ones. Hello all! I got here from a Google search for Dr.TCP021. Trying to see if it helps my speed a bit.
I am from New Jersey and I like to mess things up and then pull my hair out (what's left of it) figuring how to unbreak what I broke. That's always fun! |

I found it using DogPile. I need a place to find which is the best DVD burning sotware.
I figured a computer-user blog might be helpful. |

Earth. Take me to your lead...
Wait a minute... Sorry, wrong idiom. I googled here. By the way, this brings up an interesting topic: What other forums do you subscribe to? As for me, Maximum-suzuki.com, tech-support guy, and 2wm.org. |

Stumbled across link to this site doing seach for Mskdetct in Yahoo! Am finding it somewhat complicated to figure out where I am and where I want to go in this site. That will cease with time and experience. I am looking forward to getting help with my computer problems. Don't expect to be able to help others for some time yet, if ever. Expect that for now my contribution will be adding to the statistics on problems experienced.

Found out about this site from Lockergnome Forums. Similiar to this one. Both are great with knowledgeable members. I recommend both sites to all my clients, friends etc.

Merijn.org is where I found the link, though Google is where I found his site.
Figured while G2G and a few other reputable sites would get me what I needed, I'd try BC in hopes of finding an answer I can understand. Now, I'm off to search the site for answers and/or post a few Q's in hopes of help. Luck! Once upon a time I used only Spy-bot S&D. Something went sideways while exploring a Dalnet IRC channel and the something blocked the Spy-bot update site and the Net-Integration site. Unfamiliar with malware, really, I got worried and found a way to contact one of the mirror sites at the time, www.securitywonks.org, where a helpful individual sent me a replacement host file. The host file contained "good" sites as well as blocked sites. The name "bleepingcomputer.com" caught my eye. The language spoken was more like what I was familiar with, even if the topics themselves weren't. Long story short, I needed to reformat after several goes-around in the HJT Forum. I learned more from Grinler in a week then I'd taught myself in a year, so I'm an ardent fan of the goings-on here. I "word-of-mouth" refer on a regular basis.

Typed in computer forums into Google and MSN and came across the same list pretty much. I give the credit to google since that was the link I clicked that brought me to BLEEPING! I went back and forth through the two search engines over a three day period and selected 12 forums to join. One of the first was BLEEPING because it was the coolest, friendliest one out there. I have told many people to come here and join!
I do really like the others, but at times the "expert" members to not want to hear from anyone but THEMSELVES! That sorta takes away from the idea of a forum! We can never stop learning and no one has ALL the answers. Forums are full of talented computer people, but it takes us ALL to make the world go round!
