Help
I am currently backing up my Outlook .pst file (1.4GB) on an external hard drive with SyncBack software. However, it won't allow me to save multiple versions of the same file with the date appended to the file name. I had a situation where the pst was corrupted without my knowledge, and when it was backed up, it over wrote the good file with the corrupt copy.
Is there any backup software that will allow me so specify how many iterations of a file to save, so that I can restore from a previous backup, if the most recent is corrupt?

Cobian Backup allows you to save as many backup copies, as you want.
I have mine set to, 2.
It tags every backup with the name, date, hr, min, and sec, so if your worried about a corrupt backup, you could run 2 consecutive backups.

It's a pretty easy program, to use.
Once it's set up, it's just a matter of a couple of clicks, to run a backup.
I have mine set to, 2.
It tags every backup with the name, date, hr, min, and sec, so if your worried about a corrupt backup, you could run 2 consecutive backups.

I haven't used it, so I can't say one way, or the other.
8 does everything I need to do, so I didn't see a need to upgrade.
