windows movie maker in vista problem

I have vista home premium 1gig memory,250g hard drive... I have set up a movie with movie maker, complete with pictures and music. it is only 38 minutes long .When I tried to burn it do a dvd it went on for several hours only completed 25% and rejected the dvd. So I tried again with a new dvd and left it on all night , it completed 96% and rejected the dvd. I have made a movie before with no problems.
Hopefully someone can help me with this

Have your tried IMG Burn?
