I know a character by a famous fiction writer does. But don't know of a writer who does.

Robert Langdon.
He wrote the books "The Da Vinci Code", "Angels & Demons", and "The Lost Symbol".
All of these books also became movies.

That is right too. He is a character. But he is the only one who fits, so i guess he meant fiction character.

Thats not quite accurate. Robert Langdon is not a writer. Robert Langdon is a character and yes the one I allude to in my answer you quote. Dan Brown is the author that uses Robert Langdon as the character in his books you mention that have been made into moves. The Lost Symbol not having been released yet as it is in production.

The authors site: http://www.danbrown.com/#/home

So I am still unable to find a fiction author who wears a Mickey Mouse watch. And no Dan Brown does not wear a Mickey Mouse watch.
