Just recently my laptop has been unable to load webpages, even though it indicates that I am connected to the internet. I've tried both firefox and internet explorer, both of which fail to load up any webpage that I try. However, if I run my laptop in safe mode with networking, both of the browsers work fine. This happens whether I am connected to an ethernet cord or using wireless. Ive tried running both malwarebytes anti-malware and trendmicro to scan for viruses, both of which could not find any. Also, for some reason I can still use aim and message people. Any help you can give me to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated! I'm currently stuck using safe mode.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1420 on Vista Home basic 32-bit.
