Can't Open Display In Control Panel RUNDLL Error Message

VERY Strange!!! I tried to open my DISPLAY in my Control Panel and got the following message......

RUNDLL
An exception occured while trying to run "C:\windows\system32\shell32.dll,control_rundll"C:\windows\system32\desk.cpl",Display"

Any input on what the story is here????
