Newbie needs direction

Hello everyone,

I've developed an interest in computers and would like advice on where to begin,as there seems to be a huge amount directions i could take.

Im not looking to change career at this point,maybe in the future.

I think if i begin with basic maintenance it may give me an idea of where to go next,and have looked at Comptia A+.

Any tips?
