I have the problem with my USB.I had formatted WindowsXp lately.I installed all drivers from motherboard CD except USB driver ie VIA USB 2.0 Controller, but it gives the ERROR Can't find HID.I can't access my USB. So I installed USB 2.0 Driver from web and restarted but My Computer does not show any USB device.
Also I had a back up image file of motherboard CD and tried to install driver from it but was unsuccessful. Please help,as my important files are in it.

The best thing you can do is install Windows XP Service Pack 3 on your computer. USB 2.0 support was added to the service packs starting with Service Pack 1A.

You may also want to remove the USB 2.0 driver that you installed from the web before doing this so you get the best results.

Hope this helps,
