Hi there

Is anyboby up for a challenge to save my sig from deing removed.

The trouble and dilemma that I'm  in; is that it was made for me by somebody in another forum that has now been closed due to lack of fund's; and now I've found this GR8 forum...

But I have been very kindly asked by a moderator to have it re-sized or re-move it.

As I kind'a like it; I'm asking for help from anybody with the skill :flowers: to do this for me. The required new size is 500 x 90

Regards

El Tel :trumpet:

I can't see where it is any bigger then some of the others. But they're the boss.
Maybe you should just remove the writing under the gif or shink the size of font.

I just tried. But I could not do it. It must be one of the protected ones.
In InfranView the re-size re-sample was grayed out.

You may be out of luck.

BTW River_Rat The properties are 160 x 155. And, no it doesn't look much bigger. But it is the width that is to large. Plus the text and the image are two seperate things. The text does not count, when taking the size of the sig. image into consideration. Although, I should add that the text is a bit large as well.

Since you have already been asked to resize or remove it, so do you suppose that you should then remove it until it can be resized? Or I can do it for you.

LOL I'm far from an expert. And I have came across the graying out of re-size re-sample before. Can I ask, how did you do that Grinler?

I have adobe Imageready. I just opened the file and resized the image. Saved it and was done. Great, but expensive program.

I think it came out ok right?

I think it came out looking good, Grinler.

Scarlett,
Irfanview can't do a simple resize/resample on an animated .gif image.
That's why the options were grayed out.
A animated .gif is a compilation of several images, and Irfanview can only do single image (non-animated) resize/resample.

You can stop the animation (Options/Stop Animation).
This will stop it, on the first frame of the animation.
You can resize/resample that single image, but it will no longer be animated.

Adobe, hmmm... one day......... maybe.

Thanks tg. :flowers: There is a lot I need to learn still. Although, I could of sworn that I had tried to resize a non-animated image. And the graying out was there then as well. Can't be sure. Do you know of any instances when that may happen? Are there some images that may be protected? Or am I mistaken?

I can't say for sure, Scarlett.
I've never had it happen, that I can remember.
