Possible Hard drive issue...

OOPS never mind, my BIOS has 2 separate sections to set boot priority, one for general devices and one for hard drives... I got it.

Annnd since Im here, definitely last question, does it really matter if my other HD is actually master, but my new one is just higher in boot priority, but possibly slave?

Doesn't really make a difference, as long as it boots the new one first, they will both be identical in usage. Your going to use the IDE for slaving right?

Yes, slaving in the sense that its still probably master, but is lower on the boot list.

Then in that case, nothing should be different. It's basically like having a back-up drive with all the system files :thumbsup:
