KEYBOARD FAILURE ON BOOT

XP HOME, Keyboard loads with Boot, No problem reported by BIOS. XP loads and keyboard not functioning. Mouse does operate. PS/2 interface 101/102 standard keyboard. Reboot one or two times and Keyboard works. PC Tools Spyware Doctor loaded with Threatfire tfkbMon.sys running. Can anyone help with problem. No problem prior to XP updates and PC Tools Spyware Doctor loaded in.

Your keyboard drivers could be damaged, among other things.

I'd try uninstalling the keyboard drivers (via Device Manager), then rebooting the system.
