Loosing Internet Connection, Loosing connection every few minutes

New Member Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 12-September 04 Member No.: 2,649	Every few minutes, I loose my internet connection . I purchased a new computer for my daughter and it worked fine. Any ideas as to how to correct this problem? Jerry

New Member Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 12-September 04 Member No.: 2,649	I have a dial-up. When I lose connection, I still have my icon at the bottom of my screen and the note says that I'm still connected. I have to "right click on it and tell it to disconnect before I can get it to connect again. Thanks Jerry

You want to be sure that it never disconnects when idle.
