Hi, as far as I know, to be able to send a contact form, you need the PHP mail() function. As I don't have PHP installed, is there some other solution to do it ?

Sure. You could use Java, Perl, .ASP, Ruby, Python, or C++ for starters.

Unfortunately I don't know that much programming. I barely passed the "Hello world" test for PHP )

I googled a little and discovered the 3rd party form processing tools like http://www.freedback.com and http://www.123contactform.com .
Did you have experience with any of them?

All those do is create web forms. They still do nothing to handle the information that is gathered by the forms they create, nor do they do anything like email. They create simple HTML forms, and HTML is not capable of doing anything other than displaying web content.

What kind of server side scripts(Perl, ASP, PHP, JSP etc) does you server support? If you know that, you would aim better.
If its your own server, you can always install PHP in 5 minutes.

In the past, before I had a host with PHP, I used the Tipjar Generic Form Handler. It's free and pretty easy.

If/when you get PHP installed, I recommend Formmail from Tectite.
