BleepingComputer.com: simply accounting vista network problem

Here is what i have, router , with 2 computers running vista, one is vista 64, they are now sharing a printer and internet connection, but having problems accessing simply accounting files from one to the other. I get a message "cannot open database because some files are read only".
I have read tutorials and believe i have all the proper network settings. Any ideas???

Are you accessing the files through the account program? If yes, there might be something within the program itself to allow access. Look in the help file for accessing files remotely or something like that.

Can you access other files without an issue?
