Good question. I used to think that there should be an inherent performance advantage to a PCI card adapter over a USB one. But lately I have seen several USB ones which performed very well and besides, with one on a USB cord you can position the antenae better compared to the card one which will be in the back flush up against a wall probably.
Cost wise PCI probably wins but I wonder how much. I wouldn't hesitate to get a USB one for my computer if it were USB 2.0 and comparably priced with the PCI. |

i was thinking the same thing. I have a wireless g network and the usb version is only about 15 dollars more (a small price to pay for the convenience and not risking compatability issues with my other pci cards). Plus, I want to save my pci slots for
