vLite is a Vista install customizing tool.
You must have a Vista DVD before you begin with vLite. With vLite you can integrate SP1 and SP2, language packs, hotfixes, remove components etc.

Requirements of vLite are :
1. Vista DVD
2. WAIK installed (1.3GB download from Microsoft)
3. .NET 2.0 installed

vLite created an ISO image, which you would have to burn to a DVD before you can use it to re-install Vista.
vLite cannot be used without a Vista DVD.
