Ok... is IE6 still installed too?

Please list all the versions of IE that you have currently and which ones are not handling Javascript properly.

Nope, it won't let me install lower versions of IE. Javascript doesn't work in all IE versions

Try this:

Make sure no browsers are open (IE, Firefox, Chrome... nothing)
Go to Start->Run...
Type in cmd and press OK. This will launch the Windows Command Processor (looks like DOS)

At the command prompt, type this:

regsvr32 jscript.dll

If it is successful, a popup message will tell you "DllRegisterServer in jscript.dll succeeded."

Reboot, test, and report back.

Try this: How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8? (be sure to try the alternative steps listed if the first method doesn't work)
