BleepingComputer.com: Laptop BSOD during sleep

Hi, my laptop over a year old now, but it has been having this problem for quite some time. Nearly every time I close the lid or set it to "sleep", the screen will go black and it will never actually go to sleep. It stays on and eventually reboots itself, and gives me a blue screen in the process. I've ran Spybot and virus checking programs, but I don't think that's it. I'm thinking it has something to do with a driver?
