Hi,

Have you experience this issue that you cant open even calculator. What you can do is just rename the file from .exe to .bat and you can now open the application

You can run Rkill, written by this site's owner for exactly this problem.

This deals with the running of .exe files problem as well as killing processes and resetting registry policies.
