BleepingComputer.com: DHCPNACK message

I unplug my router when I am not on the net so I probably plug it in a few times a day, I am on a dynamic IP and notice while looking in "Event Viewer" that I get this message quite alot as a error.

I removed the IP address.

I checked to make sure that I have the IP set to automatically assign the address so I do not understand why I keep getting the errors.

When you plug the router back in can you not surf? Do you have to reboot your PC to get it to work? Not sure what the issue is.

No the surfing is just fine, I was just worried about getting errors and warning everyday as that cannot be normal ?

Well I'm not sure if its normal or not, I dunno anyone that unplugs their routers when not in use. But if there is no issue connecting I wouldn't worry about it.

Well where the plug is its unsafe for kids to be running around so I unplug it to be careful, I was just curious to see if anyone knew what the errors mean and if its serious and if there's a fix for it.

Ok unplugging the router in your case is understandable.

I wouldn't worry about them, if you leave your PC on it does tons of little things behind the scene. None of those are serious. =)

I am not hugely worried about them but the fact that they are "errors" disturbs me as I do not think getting errors every day is a good thing so I would like to solve it

I have them as well so I have no idea what to tell you.

Anyone else reading this have these same errors and their PC works just fine?
