For the last 3/4 days when I shut down my computer -- I get in the shutdown windows box
this message -- Install updates and shut down -- I checked my updates history and it confirms
that I have recieved this update "KB929399" over 10 times already (Update for windows media
Format 11 SDK fpr Windows XP) -- I went into my control panel and removed this update but
upon closing down my computer it repeated the whole process once again. So I am back where
I started -- I went back into my updates history once again and had alook at the "Review and Install Updates".
Sure enough it shows that this update is ready to download and install again -- the funny thing is that the download
size is 0 kb, 0 minutes to download
Can someone please tell me how I can fix this problem

fixed my problem -- I went back into Windows Update
clicked on custom install -- In Select Updates to Restore
I clicked on "Update for Windows Media Format 11 SDK
for Windows XP (KB929399) - hide do not install -- I
know this is not the proper method to fix it but it will
do until someone comes along with a better idea.
I've googled this problem but none of those fixes worked
for me.
