I have an HP Pavillion laptop with Vista Ultimate. Everytime it awakens from sleep, I must click on the "locked" icon before it goes to the desktop. As I am the only user of the computer I would it to go directly to the desktop and skip the Locked feature. I know it's possible, because it used to work that way.

Control Panel/Power Options - on the left pane click "Require a password on wakeup"

Select "Don't require a password".
