BleepingComputer.com: HP DV7 Quick Touch Issue

I seem to be having a problem with the quick touch mute button. It seems to register mute and unmute on the actual computer but the light stays orange, and although the sound works fine with headphones, when i unplug them, the sound seems to be quite muffled. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

try this.
1 turn off computer
2 take out battery
3 unplug charger
4 hold the power button for 45 seconds
5 put battery back in
6 power it up should work fine
