I regret to inform you all that I have just discovered the single most complete, accurate, and up-to-date repository of computer knowledge known to exist. For that reason, I suggest that we all go home; we just can't compete.

I expect that Grinler will be along shortly to delete the whole website and take up basket weaving. I, for one, intend to take up stamp collecting.

Fare well!

I just opened the site you posted. They were so happy to see me they sent me a pop up. Going to run a few scans.

I'm back. Just run two quick scans, 1.Super antispyware 2. Malwarebytes. Nothing found from the pop up. That was the first pop up I have seen on my computer in a long time. Some thing about finding lost friends.

Wow am I glad I saw that site.... I never knew the CPU was called a Central "Programming" Unit.

I also didn't know that compact flash was a R.A.M. Unit.

Just one more thing I needed to know on my way to computer troubleshooting. The next computer I work on I'm going to replace the hard drive with a "flash drive" and tell everyone that's more than enough space and more than fast enough for "anything" they'll ever do.

Laughing my a$$ off,

Thank-you Amazing Andrew...

After reading that web page I realize that I am a computer geek... instead of my normal status of computer clueless...

I certainly hope that's not a serious site, but I fear it may be... :thumbsup:

OOPS. Ms. Judy forgot to include an email address or a send me mail link. No one can inform her of the hdd error.
I hope she finds out that the typical hard drive pictured is NOT the hard drive that goes into the system.

@Queen-Evie

And because she did not include any email or where to donate (how did I miss that the first time? guess I was laughing too hard...) I get to save my dollar. Guess she isn't going to make money on this endeavor.

Angelfire is safe, in and of itself. Being a free web host means that nefarious people sometimes use it for evil ends. The page under discussion here is not harmful (unless you read it, in which case I can't be held responsible for damages to your brain/faith in humanity! :thumbsup: )
